Problems with mail merge in Outlook 2002 - trying to create envel.

I have created an Xmas Card contacts folder in Outlook 2002 and now want to
print the names and addresses on to envelopes. When I use the mail merge
wizard in Word 2002 I have the following problems: -
1) I can only reduce the envelope width to a minimum of 6.4" - Word won't
let me go any smaller;
2) I can only indent the return address 0.2" from the left hand side of the
envelope, even though, with the minimum width mentioned above in 1), this
will probably leave part of the return address off the envelope
3) Here's where the problems really start: in the Mail Merge Wizard in Word
2002, I pick "Select from Outlook contacts" and then "Choose Contacts
Folder". This brings up a new dialog box. I select "Xmas Card List" (which
has information under the description column head, but not when it was
created or modified, or the type of file.
This then brings up a Data Link Properties dialog box.

I'm now completely floundering - what do I do next and where am I going
wrong? I just want to use my contacts list that I created in Outlook and
possibly edit some of the addresses slightly before printing them to
envelopes.

Thanks in advance!
W.

You have posted a Word question in an Outlook group.
For the problem with selecting your data source: start the merge from your
desired Contacts Folder, not Word.
