Provide your version of Outlook and the exact text of the message you see.

Sorry for lack of information.

Outlook version is 2000
Error message when I try to open contacts folder tells me
to contact Systems Administrator to access this folder.

Administrator checked server and the settings were fine.
So it's prpbably the individual's workstation.

How would I correct this problem?

Was the exact text of the message "contact Systems Administrator to access
this folder"? If not, what was it?

Try clearing the forms cache on the problem system: Choose Tools | Options |
Other | Advanced Options | Custom Forms, then click Manage Forms, then Clear
Cache.

Where is the form published?
