address book filing order

We can sort names in contact but cannot do so in our address book.  Names are
by default sorted by first name.  I would think that most people are use to
using a phone book were names are sorted by last name.  Most people sort by
last name in their business index.  Why can't we get a patch to choose either
setting?  Sure would make it easier for those that sort personal as well as
business names by last name then first name.  Thanks for consideration
