I'm using a custom form to manage clients but I keep getting "custom form
cannot be installed...." and the contact opens using the default form which
doesn't show any of the custom fields that I need. I know about clearing the
cache, which I do regularly. But this is a tiresome problem and I'm tired of
explaining it to the people who use the database. Is there a patch to fix
this?

Outlook version? Outlook doesn't "install" forms normally, so please tell us
the steps you're taking and the full text of the error message.

Database?

FYI, there is a newsgroup specifically for Outlook forms issues "down the
hall" at microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms or, via web interface, at
http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public
.outlook.program_forms
