When I create a contact and type in a name (Steve Sweitzer) the Steve goes
into the Last name field and the Sweitzer goes into the First Name field.
How can I change this so the name is entered into the correct field.

Configure the Full Name field correctly. Tools > Options > Preferences >
Contact Options...

Thanks so much,, this was driving me crazy.  I knew it was something obvious
like this but couldn't find it - either on my own or anywhere in Help.

This solved the problem.

State what you tried.
State what happened.
State whether you are referring to new or existing Contacts.

I am referring to existing contacts.  I've done what you suggested to no avail.
