Okay, I create the distribution lists in my Contacts folder, which I share
with several people. If each user of this Shared Contacts folder put the
Shared Contacts folder in their Address Book, the users do not receive the
updates when I make changes to the lists in the Shared Contacts folder. The
users have to obtain the distribution lists from their Folders List. When
taken from the the Folders List, we click and drag or copy to the To: filed;
however when pasted there, the names of the list are not bolded and
underscored. When we try to send the email message with the names of the
lists in the To: field, Outlook tells us that it cannot find the lists.

Please explain where this "Shared Contacts" folder resides and what you mean
by "obtain the distribution lists from their Folders List."
And what does this description have to do with your original statement of
the problem, i.e. that *you* can't send to multiple distribution lists.
