"too many recipients" error message

Previously, I used Outlook Express for my email and had 50 names in one
contact group.  Now that I'm using Microsoft Outlook, if I add any more than
12 names to a contact group when I hit send I get an error message that says
"too many recipients" and will not send the email.  To get around this issue
I have been forced to create several smaller groups but now when I try to
send to more than one smaller group in the same email I get that "too many
recipients" error also.  I am being forced to send to each smaller group
individually and it is a pain when I have to insert/attach several files to
each email instead completing the task in one email.
Please help.

This would have nothing to do with Outlook. Those limits are set by your
mail server, not Outlook.
