I have outlook 2002 on my desktop and have just purchased outlook 2003 for my
laptop.  copied .pst file from desktop to CD but cannot iport into laptop.
Attempts to do so result in " Access Denied - you do not have permission to
access this file".  As far as I know the CD is not covered by any password.

Outlook must have exclusive read/write access to a PST. You must move the
file to a hard drive and remove its read only attribute.
Once you do, it is unlikely you would want to import it unless you don't
mind losing some data. Normally one would either reuse the PST as the
default or open it and copy what you want from it.
