I set up two address books in Outlook. My personal info is in the Contacts
File. I right clicked on the Contacts Folder and chose set up a new folder
(address book?) and input my business addresses. If I compose a letter in
Word and go to tools/letters and mailings/mail merge at step 3 of 6 in mail
merge I choose Outlook Contacts and I select my business folder. At this
point I either get the error message I noted or nothing happens. If I select
the contacts folder in the mail merge process it works fine. Also, if I use
the Tools in Word and select letters and mailings/ the businness contacts are
there for purposes of filling in the addressee on the envelope. Is this
enough info?

Are you certain you enabled this new folder as an email address book in its
properties?
What happens if you start the merge from Outlook instead of Word?
