Can't import address book

I have a Microsoft Works Suite 2001 address book file that
was saved as "Jaime.wab" at one point when I was backing
up my hard drive.

I am now trying to import that file into Microsoft outlook
but am told that the "file has been locked by another
application."  So then I re-installed the works suite and
tried again using the address book there, and I can't
import it.

I really hate to think I've lost all the addresses in
there...is there any way I can get the file to open?

Thanks,
Jaime

Outlook cannot import a wab file directly. Import the *.wab File into a
program that can use it as an address book (such as Outlook Express) , then
import from OE into Outlook.
