I have not been able to find a way to sort my contacts according to their
email address. Previous versions of Outlook enabled such sorting.
Undeliverable mail notices only give the email address of the rejected mail.
It makes it much simpler to find the person if you are able to do a sort on
the email addresses.

Harold, I have 3400 entries in the contact folder. Never had a version that
I recall that (Since Office 97) that arranged the contacts by email address,
so in Office 2003 (You didn't mention your version) I simply chose Find on
the Tools drop down menu, then clicked on Find. Subsequently copy the
e-mail address into the Look for: box and the click on Find Now. Once found,
click on Clear.

Can't you add the Email field to a table view of your Contacts and sort by
it? Works just fine here.
