I recently reformatted my computer and I was able to loate the *.pst files
for outlook. I can view my contact list but when i start a new email and
click the "To" button it says that the address list could not be displayed.
I've tried searching through everything in the data file management with no
luck

*where* does it say that? Outlook version?

A pop up screen comes up and says it.

OK, so can you tell us something about *which* address list can't be
displayed or give us the exact text of the message? Your Outlook version
would also be helpful.

The exact wording of the message is.

The address list could not be displayed. The contacts folder associated with
this address list could not be opened, it may have been moved or deleted, or
you do not have permissions. For information on how to remove this folder
from the OUtlook Address Book, see Microsoft Officer Help.

I"m running OUtlook version 10.6515.6714 SP3.

I only have the one address book.

Try removing the Outlook Address Book with Tools | Email Accounts,
restarting Outlook, then adding the Outlook Address Book back in.

You still didn't tell us the name of the address list you're trying to view.
Is it Contacts?

That worked. Thanks Sue. And it was called Contacts.

Thanks
