Two issues.

1). I want to make phone calls from outlook and use my headset connected to
the modem to converse.

2). I receive an "Internal error occured in phone dialer" whenever I try to
dial from contacts.

Note: My modem appears to be working properly, I can dial from "Hyper
Terminal' with no problem.

Thanks for any help provided!!!!!

I don't know about your second question, but as for the first -- Outlook can
only dial calls, it can't be used to actually facilitate the conversation.

I use Outlook to dial the phone for me, and then use a headset phone on the
open line. I was getting the "Internal error occurred in the automatic
dialer" message, and then found the following, which fixed it for me...

From the thread http://www.officekb.com/Uwe/Forum.aspx/outlook-contacts/997.

RE: dialling 'a contact' from Outlook 08 Apr 2004 05:04  Ian Baird [MS]

1. Click the phone icon from a contact with a phone number to bring up the
New Call window,

2. Select "Dialing Options"

3. Under "Connect using Line" click to drop the drop down menu

4. You may need to use the arrow keys on the keyboard to select the Modem
from the list
