I failed to backup a newly created contact list. My hard drive crashed. Is it
possible to retrieve that info? Secondly, whether I get it back or not and
have to reenter data, is it possible to network two computers so that updates
to contact list will automatically be transfered to second computer in same
physical location?

1) Maybe. The file woudl be something.pst. That's not really an issue for
this newsgroup, though.

2) This type of synchronization is not built into Outlook. See
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/sync.htm for possible solutions.
