outlook contact  & email not connecting after copying from dif co.

outlook 2002,  i copyied from my contacts from one computer and loaded on a
different computer.  they are in the folder list but when i email the list
does not connect when i click on to: the select names has no contacts in it.  
how do i get it to see my contacts?  steve aka hobo

What address lists, if any, do you see when you choose Select Names?

i see outlook address book then under that i see contacts but the contacts
in my
folder list are not in the select names list.  There are no names in the
contacts select name list.

On your Contacts folder, bring up the Properties dialog and check the
Outlook Address Book box that you'll find there.

i played with that for a while.  The problem seems to be that i have sub
folders for business, family, other under contacts.  The program is getting
to contacts but is not getting to the subfolders.  I do not know how to
create sub folders in this area.  This did work on the other computer.

Repeat the procedure I specified for each subfolder.
