I am trying to search for a contact using the format "First name Last Name".
I am composing a mail and then in the to field, I type in a part of the
first name and a part of the last name. Then I hit Ctrl-K.
But it pops up a dialog saying that "No names found".
This same functionality used to work correctly earlier .
For example, if I am searching for John Hardy, I type Jo Ha and hit Ctrl-K.
If I type Ha Jo, it does not work.
It works only if I type Hardy Jo and hit Ctrl-K.

Please help.

In your post you said, "This same functionality used to work correctly
earlier ." (sic)
That tells us very little.
What did you change between "earlier" and "now?"
What Outlook version and information store are you using?
