My contacts are arranged by category ie: Business, Christmas cards, Home
phone book etc.

I want to print out an address book for home  using only the names in the
category of " home phone book" in the "detailed address card" view.

How do I accomplish this? I have Outlook 2000 and Windows XP Home edition

Thanks for trying to help. My problem is that I can only choose 1 view:
either "category" or "detailed note card" but not both. If I choose
"category" the print comes out like a phone list or spread sheet. If I choose
"detailed note card" the I get my entire contact list. Am I missing
something?

Did you try customizing the card view? (or a copy of the card view) I'm not
sure you can group by category in card view, but you might be able to sort
by it.
