I can't get Outlook to let me view the address book; it gives me an error message that "the address book could not be displayed" and "the contacts folder associated with this address list could not be opened." When I attempt to change the "shared" properties, those fields are ghosted. Post your Outlook version and the steps you used to corrupt your Outlook Address Book. In case it matters, I have just upgraded my machine, and I copied the whole PST file from the old machine to the new one. All my contacts show when I click on the Contacts tab, but when I try to address an e-mail, they're not there. All help appreciated! Even worse, if you overwrote another PST file when you copied it, you have corrupted your profile.
