I have recently set up a new computer for a secretary.  She was previously
using Outlook 2000 and the new computer has Outlook 2002.  On her old
computer we can access the Address Book through Outlook and Word just fine.
On the new computer, I get this message "Unable to display the contents of
this address book.  The contacts folder associated with this address could
not be opened. . . .

I have run all of the Office updates that are supposed to help solve this
problem.

These are the steps I have tried:
1.  Moved contacts from old computer using export/import options
2.  Deleted this file and "copied" the *.pst file from the old computer
3.  Uninstalled Office XP and reinstalled it and ran the updates again.

I have checked the location of the data files by going to Control Panel and
Inbox - there is only one file and it is the one I am using.

Please help!!

Did you configure the Outlook Address Book?

I have the contact folder working within Outlook now and I can run the mail
merge wizard from Word 2002.  However, every time I try to print a single
envelope using the Contact address book from Word, it crashes the program and
generates a schdmapi.dll error.

Do you know the solution for this?

I have the contact folder wtihin Outlook working fine.  I can do a mail merge
to labels, etc. in Word, but when I try to print a single envelope from Word
2002 using the contacts address book, I get a "schdmapi.dll" error.

I like to use this feature very much.  Do you have a solution for this?

Thanks!

This was a common error in earlier versions of Office, but I've not seen it
reported in Office XP so far. Probably the best thing to try is to find and
rename that file, then run Office Detect and Repair. That's what worked in
earlier versions.
