I've got dozens of contacts within a distribution list.  I want to copy them
in my main contact folder.  My MIS dept. told me I have to retype them.  Is
there an easier way?

You should be able to save the DL as a TXT file.
Clean it up so that each column has an appropriate field name as its first
row.
Then import it as a CSV file into your Contacts Folder.
