You simply need to configure your Outlook Address Book correctly. It should
be empty when you select it from Word. Beneath it you will see any Contacts
Folders that you have enabled as email address books.

I use Outlook Express for email not Outlook but I'm considering changing if I
can figure out how to export all my OE addresses & emails to Outlook. It
might help solve my OE problems, I lost everything when I downloaded Windows
SP2, had to a do a restore to get it back.

Oh good grief.
OE does not integrate with Word. It's not part of the Office Suite.
Why did you leave that little tidbit out? Did you think we could read your
mind?
You can easily import from OE into Outlook.
