I have outlook 2003 connected to a small business 2003 premium server running
exchange 2003.  I am using a shared contacts folder off of the server.  When
I open my outlook client it defaults to the contact folder under my contacts
instead of the shared contact folder under "other contacts".

Is there a way to get the contact folder under other contacts (shared
contact folder on exchange server) to be the default contact folder?

No, you cannot change the defaults.  Hence, the name, default.

Are you sure Milly?  From your response it does not seem like you know that
you can change default settings on programs.
