I have an issue with outlook 2003 where every time I want to save a new
contact, I get this error:

The item could not be saved to this folder. The folder has been deleted
or moved, or you do not have permission. Do you want to save a copy of
it in the default folder for the item?

I cant save a copy of it to the default folder.

Any one have any ideas and/or solutions?

Thanks in advance
Steve

We would if you could tell us the steps that you used to create this
problem. You have managed to disconnect your Outlook profile from your
default information store. That cannot happen without user intervention.

I am trying to help you. There is no way to know how to fix this problem
when we have no idea how it arose and the precise steps that generate this
error message.
As much as we'd like to, we cannot read minds.
