Dissable outlook changing phone / fax numbers

Hi,
I have a problem with outlook changing contact phone and fax numbers.
I want it to save the number the way it is entered.
but outlook changes it to international numbers.
adds 61 8 89000000 when I require it to stay as 89000000.
Is there a reg hack to stop this from happening

Just disable the option to add the country code to local phone numbers:
Contacts > Actions > Call Contact > New Call... > Dialing options...
