Sue if I delete five contacts from Contacts will these five names and
information be in the deleted folder? Mine was empty after the deletion.
How long does the deleted information stay in the folder?

Anything you delete by pressing the Delete key or toolbar button should go
do Deleted Items, which holds items until you empty it or until AutoArchive
removes older items according to the settings in the folder's Properties
dialog.
