How do I change form used by existing items in Outlook Contacts?

I created a custom Contacts form, and used it for several new entries. Those
new contacts have disappeared. Where did they go???

Also, I want to change both the default Contacts form, and also change all
existing contacts to that same new custom form. I saw Sue Mosher's solution
to changing the MessageClass, which I will look into. Is this also going to
change the default form that opens for a New Contact?

Looking forward to help!

Changing the MessageClass property on existing items changes ... those
existing items. It has no effect on new items. See
http://www.outlookcode.com/d/newdefaultform.htm for ways to make your form
the default.
