How do I remove an email address that is wrong but it is not stor.

I have typed an incorrect email address for someone, I did not save the
address in my address book and I did save the correct address in my address
book.  But when I start typing the address in both pop up and I have a hard
time remembering which one is the correct one.
Is there a way to delete the incorrect email address?
I am using Microsoft Outlook Windows XP

Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field. If your autocomplete list contains only a single entry, use the
directions here:
