After using Contacts  to telephone various  firms, I usually need to write up
a quick note in Frequently Used Texts about what transpired.   I find it
helpful to put in a date at the top or beginning  of each note  each time I
write.   At the beginning of this year I realised that on some ocassions I
typed 2004 instead of 2005 by mistake and if not discovered would have led to
problems.   I always find typing dates awkward anyway and stops the flow a
bit.  I therefore thought it would be a good idea if Microsoft allowed one to
insert the date using Insert on the Menu.  Notes can be extremely important
and the dates on which they are written could also be crucial.
