How do I file Contacts under company

When I go under Tools/Options/Contact Options and change the Default "File
As" Order From: Last, First TO: Company it does not apply it to my contacts.
I think the problem is that the "Apply" button is shaded out.  Does anyone
know how I can change this???

That setting only applies for new Contacts.
You cannot change existing Contacts from the GUI. You have to run code to do
that.
