After I archieve an e-mail I can no longer get to it
through the activity tab of a contact. When I see the
mail in the archived folder it doesn't come up in the
activity tab and when I don't see it in the archive
folder I receive an error message which says:
D:\Outlook\mailbax.pst is not valid (or can't be opened)

Can anybody help me with this because I use the activity
tab a lot to review old communication with a contact and
right now I don't archive my mails anymore to avoid this
issue which blows up my inbox/sent folder dramatically.

Thank you for your help

The Activities tab can not show items in an archive PST file along with those in your main folders. You can, however, create a new activities group on the Properties dialog for the Contacts folder and have it look at the archive folder.
