Unlike most, I would like to see [business fax] next to my contact name.
Somehow, this no longer displays.  For example, I have 5 contact listings for
John Smith but Outlook will not tell me what each one refers to.  Does anyone
know how to reactivate this feature?

Depends.
What did you do to inactivate it?
Probably something you did just before "no longer"
Hard for us to know when you keep you Outlook version a secret.

If I knew who and how they did it, I would ask them.

Outlook 2002 has never used that designation, nor can it be added. Only
Outlook 97, 98 and 2000 did.
