Private box for a new contact

Outlook is putting a check in the private box at the bottom right of all new
contacts.  How do I change that default?

You need to post your version if you have a question.
The only cause I know of for this to occur without your designating it is in
Outlook 2000 with SBCM:

Thank you that did it.  Great guess on version, we are running 2000.
