Moving Outlook data

I recently built a new computer and wanted to move my Outlook data to it. I
saved all the pst files, then installed Office and copied the old files
over.

Both old and new systems run Office 2003 SP1, WinXP SP2. The old systems
drive has been formatted, so going back to it and doing something isn't an
option, I'm stuck with whatever data backups I have.

I have a problem with the Address book / Contacts folder. Either pressing
the address book button on the main toolbar, or creating a new mail and
pressing the To.. button yield the same error message:

"The address list could not be displayed. The Contacts folder associated
with this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or
deleted, or you do not have permissions."

In the drop down list on the Address Book labelled "Show Names from the:"
there are three seperate Contacts under Outlook Address Book, and one of
them actually has my contacts; the problem is that it defaults to the wrong
one.

I've only got one email account, and one data file location for it, though I
had tried setting it to a different location (didn't seem to work).

Choosing the 'right' Contacts list does work, so it's more of a nuisance,
and I have no idea why it's behaving this way. I reuninstalled Outlook,
didn't help.

Any pointer in the right direction?

Thanks
Rob

You migrated your data incorrectly.
Just reset your Outlook Address Book here:
Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or address
books > Outlook Address Book > Change.
