All of a sudden, my "quick search?" block in Contacts only finds a few of my
contacts when I search by name.  Where are the settings that let my entire
Contacts file be searched through my multiple folders.

Impossible to say without any information.
We would need to know what you did just before "all of a sudden" to corrupt
your Outlook Address Book settings.
We would need to know your Outlook version and how your Outlook Address Book
is configured.

Russ - Thanks for the offer of help.  I am using Outlook 2003 and I had to
clear and reload my program partition of my hard drive which undoubtedly
changed some of my settings.

After my inquiry, I discovered that the box putting the folder in the
address book wasn't checked any longer, so that was no doubt the problem.

For any others that have this problem, the Contact search mechanism must
search the address book and not the Contacts folders.

Not exactly. It searches the Contacts Folder, but you must configure the
Outlook Address Book correctly for it to do so because it uses the Outlook
Address Book engine for the search.

What do you mean by quick search?  Autocomplete?  Autoresolution?

Not sure of the relevance given your question, but you may find this link
