hi all,

yesterday I decided to reformat my machine. To back up my contacts I
exported them to an excel file but when I imported all seemed well but there
were no email addresses just the phone numbers ?

I checked the xls and there are definitely emails in there - how do I get
them in to outlook again ?

List the steps you used and how you mapped your fields. Read the directions:

I cannot think of a worse way to "back up" Outlook data. Never export,
especially to a different format. Just copy and reuse the original Outlook
data file.
