I've seen this has happened to others, but I haven't seen a resolution.

When you view the contacts in Address view, you can see the emal
address for the contact. When you double click on it to see the
details, the email address is missing.

I'm using Outlook 2003 with Business manager and I had to run scanpst
last week to correct some corruption.

Is there a fix for this? Is there a way to export the data? I tried to
export but it would't let me. The dialog box that request a folder was
blank.

Thanks
Dwight

I've never seen it happen to anyone before.
When you look at your Contact data, do the email addresses appear correctly
and are they resolved?
Did you import these Contacts?
When you select a recipient from the Outlook Address Book, does the message
get sent correctly?

I understand that you haven't seen it before, but googling will give
quite a few posts with the same problem.

Nothing was imported that I know of.

When you look at the contact detail view, no email address is
displayed. Only in the Address Card view does it display.

I will test  your other questions later, since I'm not at the machine
now.

Thanks

Well I still can't find any cases where email addresses simply disappear for
no reason.
But knowing that they are also missing from the Contact Record itself
certainly explains why they would be missing from the Address Book and also
tell us that your data store is corrupt. That probably is not a surprise to
you since you already had to run the Inbox Repair Tool once. It is difficult
to speculate whether it can be fixed since we really don't know what caused
it.

The only thing I can recommend is to continue more advanced repair methods:
1. Alternate Scanpst.exe with a scandisk utility.
2. Try the utility here: http://officerecovery.com/outlook/index.htm

Beyond that, I think you will have to restore from backup.
