How do I share my Outlook contacts with others on my home network?

On this site is an article on various ways to share Outlook data:

You will also find a list of third-party sharing tools:

Dear Russ and Billy,
Wow!  I've spent hours dealing with finding and transfering my contact
information from one computer to another.  Because I knew my laptop hard
drive was dying I backed up my data files on an external hard drive.  The
laptop hard drive did die.  So, new hard drive installed.  Now, how to access
my Outlook and Outlook Express information, especially my addresses and
messages.  Honestly, I can't understand why Microsoft makes this so tough.
Here's the quandries....

How to find the Outlook contact file?
Then, how to transfer my contact information and emails into Outlook on my
new hard drive.
In addition, in the not so distant passed I used Outlook Express.  Yes, I
can find the .wab file.  But then, how to transfer it into a file that can be
transferred into Outlook.  In other words, how do I transfer my .wab file
into my Outlook contacts?

Can anyone make this simple?

Thanks,
skypastr

Outlook doesn't have a "contact" file.  All Outlook data (i.e., Calendar,
Contacts, mail, Tasks, etc.) are all kept in a single file called a Personal
Folders File.

Run OE, open the Windows Address Book and import the wab file into it.  You
should then be able to use Outlook to import the addresses with FIle>Import
and Export>Import Internet Mail and Addresses, selecting Outlook Express as
the source.
