I am working in Outlook 2000 and I am using Microsoft Word in my Outlook.
How do I insert a contact as a vcard without the ext. being sent as a
winmail.dat extension? I would simply like to insert a VCARD and send it to
an email address with the file being saved as a VARD contact.

Either use the Forward as vCard command or save the contact as a vCard .vcf file and insert that file.
