This is already registered in the Microsoft Knowledge
Base Article 292253. I'm interested whether Microsoft as
fixed this problem. I'm using XP Office w/sp1

The problem is that when in creating a new message and
you click the To, Cc, or Bcc buttons in a new message,
the display name (full email address) does not appear as
it did in earlier versions. The name category does appear
in the Select Names dialog box even though the right
address book is installed. In previous versions of
Outlook you would get both the displayed names for email
and fax.

There is a work around by scrolling horizontal bar to
right - but this is very time consuming and frustrating.

Question is whether Microsoft has fixed this
problem/feature to operate like previous versons.

No fix will be available for Outlook 2002. Outlook 2003 fixes it only by
allowing you to resize the address book (and the resizing will persist).
