In Outlook 2000 under Tools/Options/Preferences/E-mail
Options there is a check box to put addressees to replies
in the contacts folder.  I check the box, but the folder
selected remains grayed out and does not work.  Contacts
has many secondary folders.  Is this the reason it has
stopped working or is there another reason?  It worked at
one time but some time in the recent past it stopped
functioning and was grayed out.
thanks for your help.

If you select your default Contacts Folder as the destination, does it work?

I can check and uncheck the check box and I can browse for
a folder but the window always displays the default
Contact folder and remains grayed out as if it is not
available.
