Just bought Outlook 2003 - running Office XP. After adding picture to a
contact it does not display although it is recognised as having been added.
Any ideas as to how I can get the picture to display.

It works for me.  What exact steps are you taking? In what way is it
"recognised as being added"?

I'm also having the same problem. I have Office 2003 on XP Pro. I can create
a new contact, click the Add Contact Picture button, navigate to and select
the .jpg image and click ok. The Add Contact Photo Default Image dissapears
on the Contact Card but my image is not displayed. I can right click where
the image should be and i get the option to change, remove, or copy the
picture. I can choose copy and then past into any other app and see the image
in that app.

It just appears to be a display issue. Can you help?

THANKS! It works. I ran the dectect and repair, which said I was missing
AV561404.cab. I inserted my office cd and "detect and repair" installed it.
Then I had to close outlook and re-open outlook, add a picture to a contact
AND there it was.

Thanks again,
