Hi,

Will you please tell me how to get rid of Windows Messenger on my WinXP
Pro SP2 computer. I never use it and do not intend to either.

Many thanks

Royston.

Remove it using the Add/Remove Programs control panel. Windows Messenger is
listed under Windows components.

is it possible to use MSN Messenger to perform the "Person Name- Smart Tag"
function?

It seems weird to me that there is no easy way to do this. (I'm assuming
Microsoft dont want to open this 'hook' up to third party solutions).

Cheers,
Dean
