I would like to view my sub contact folders under my main contacts list when
generating an email, is there a way to do that?

Enable it as an email address book in its properties.

Thanks but that did not put the folder underneath the root folder. The
outlook version is 2003.

Specify to which view you are referring.
Clarify what it is you want to do.

For example lets say I have a main contact list called My contacts. I then
create a sub folder called personal contacts underneath My contacts.  Later
on I create two more sub folders, this time underneath my personal contacts
folder.  When I go to create an email all email folders are considered to be
at the same level in alphabetical order. I would like to view it the way they
look in the contacts list, not in alphabetical order.

My contacts (root)
Personal contacts (sub folder of My contacts)
two folder (sub folder of Personal contacts)

I hope this is clear.

Thank you,

All email folders?
Do you mean all Contacts Folders?
If so, your questions was answered in your other post.
