Outlook 2003, Word 2003:

I recall seeing (I think) a setting to have new emails sent immediately when
the SEND button in the Word 2003 email editor is clicked.

Somehow I've changed it so that now the new message is just parked in my
Outbasket, requiring another manual Send/Receive.

Darned if I can find where that setting is, though.

Thanks for any help.

Tools->Options->Mail Setup Tab->send/receive settings.  Is Send Immediately
When Connected checked?

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Duh.

I was taking that setting to mean,

"Send Immediately When [First] Connected," rather than

"Send Immediately When[ever You Are] Connected."

No wonder I couldn't find it.

Thanks Milly!
