I have been synchronizing with ACT but ended up with multiple duplicates for
each individual. I would just assume erase the entire contact database and
re-import all the contacts from ACT again. Any ideas how to just delete all
the contacts in OUtlook? Which .pst file do I delete? Do I need to replace it
with anohter file by the same name?

You don't delete any .pst file.  Just expand your contacts folder to display
by phone list and select all, press delete.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.  Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head-scratching, Steve F asked this group:

That is so obvious and I missed it. I can't thank you enough! Steve F.
