I am using office 2003 on my local machine at the office and I exported
contacts file (*.pst format) for importing into outlook on other machines
using office 2000.  The machine running outlook in office 2000 could not
recognize the *.pst file I imoprted from my local office machine.

Is there a way I can down save a pst file (similar to word of excel) from
office 2003 so it could be used on office 2000?

Thank you,

Michael

When you first create/save a .pst in Outlook 2003 it gives you a choice to
either make this file compatible with earlier versions or the current version
only.  Try creating a new .pst file and look for this option.  You will have
to rename the new .pst to save it.
