If you have large table support enabled in Outlook 97-2000 (not sure if 2002
is enabled by default but 2003 is), you can have about 65,000 items in a
folder and about 65,000 folders. Of course, your default limit for the .pst
file is still 2 gigs, but the practical limit is about 1.87 gigs.

After furious head scratching, faxylady asked:
| I am importing several phonebooks from other sources into Outlook and

| many Outlook Contacts will hold. At this time, Contacts itself is
| completely blank--only the folders under it have items.
