Outlook Contacts start typing contact and go to it

I would like to be able to go to Outlook contacts and simply start typing in
the name of the contact instead of having to highlight a contact before I can
type and go to the one I want.

Feature already exists and always has. In Outlook 2003, just turn off the
Outlook Today view of your Personal Folders to enable it.
