What detail is missing? Are you receiving the contact as a .vcf file? (Check File | Save Attachments) Outlook version?

I'm missing all of the details and phone numbers and such. It looks as if
they are coming to me as .msg files. This is Outlook 2k SR-1.

In that case, the sender needs to put them in a message that is in rich-text format and needs to make sure that your address on that message is enabled for rich-text. See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/sendform.htm
