When I logged on this morning, my Contacts folder was empty.  Also, none of
the appointments I had in Calendar were gone.  Has this happened to anyone
else?  My e-mail is working fine.   I use Outlook 2003.  Thanks, John

It would never happen for no reason. There is more to this story than you
have told us. Tell us the rest. Include your information store and every
change you made before the problem arose.

Russ,

I'm sure there was a reason, but I don't remember doing anything different
before it happened.  Except....the day before this happened I deleted some
old contacts, then I logged off about an hour later.  The next morning, no
contacts and no calendar dates.  Yesterday, I used System Restore and got my
Contacts back.  John

Start making a habit of backing up your data. It's a lot better to restore
from backup when you make a mistake than to rely on System Restore.
